Match ends, Oxford United 1, Cambridge United 0.
Tyler Goodrham scored a stunning individual goal deep into stoppage time to give Oxford victory over Cambridge and their first points of the League One season.
Teenager Goodrham cut in from the left, dribbling past three defenders, then curled a shot into the far top corner to deny Cambridge what would have been a third clean sheet from three league and cup games at the start of this campaign.
Mark Bonner's side, who had backed up their opening-day win with a midweek Carabao Cup victory over Millwall, created all the chances in the first half.
Sam Smith saw his chip over Simon Eastwood drift wide after he had skilfully turned two defenders.
Harvey Knibbs side-footed wide five yards out from Simon Tracey's cross and Harrison Dunk fired narrowly over from long range.
Oxford's first real opportunity came when Marcus Browne felt he was bundled over by Lloyd Jones, but the referee waved away his pleas for a penalty.
Matty Taylor fired tamely wide at the start of the second half as the home side struggled to create much against a very organised Cambridge outfit.
Keeper Dimitar Mitov acrobatically kept out two headers at corners from centre-half Elliott Moore and Taylor before Goodrham's stunner.

Cambridge played well and deserved a draw. Hopefully this will be our year
Well done to Oxford and good luck for the season
All signs look positive that we will not suffer from 2nd season syndrome and finish mid table again
All Cambridge unlucky to lose.
Looking at the stats,
Cambridge 0 shots on target 3 corners,44% possession..
Oxford 6 shots on target,7 corners 56% possession.
Cambridge easily the better side, we couldn’t pass water.
A total mugging if ever there was one, Cambridge will definitely take a few ‘scalps’ this season.
Well done to the 18yr old debut goalscorer I say. No criticism but Sam Smith would have better scoring this time and cancel the previous clunky celebration.
